Acticoat™ 7 silver-coated contact dressing delivers 7 days of uninterrupted antimicrobial barrier protection for optimal wound management.
The rayon/polyester core helps manage moisture level and controls the release
of silver ions.
Acticoat™ 7 (with SILCRYST™ Nanocrystals) Antimicrobial Barrier Dressing is
an effective barrier to bacterial penetration.
The barrier function of the dressing may help reduce infection in partial and full thickness wounds including decubitus ulcers,
venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, and donor sites. Acticoat™ 7 dressing is indicated as an
antimicrobial barrier layer over partial and full thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, burns, and recipient graft sites.
Acticoat™ 7 is effective in vitro against to over 150 pathogens which includes
a broad spectrum of gram positive and negative bacteria and fungal wound pathogens.
Acticoat 7 is also effective in vitro against Antibiotic resistant Pseudomonas, Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Vancomycin resistant Enterococcus (VRE).
